The Picket Sign was a type of barricade in Unturned (version 3). Despite being an official item and being available in the game folder, it required additional installation steps in order to be used. Once its files were moved into the main game bundles, it could be crafted in single-player, or in any server that had also manually moved the necessary files around as well.

The item was added in response to a request made by paulsoaresjr—a popular Unturned content creator at the time. The sign was unique in that it was easily destroyable, but could bypass claims. It was also for this reason that its files were excluded from the main game, due to the exploitable nature of being able to bypass claims.
