The Vehicle Batteries are a tool in Unturned (version 3). It is used as a power source for vehicles.
Vehicles require a battery for ignition, honking, sirens, headlights, and any other unique features of a vehicle. A battery's quality is representative of its remaining charge. If the battery reaches 0% quality it will die, and it will be unsalvageable and vehicular functions will be nonfunctional. Batteries lose charge when headlights or sirens are turned on, and batteries regain charge when a player is in the driver's seat of the vehicle.
A vehicle's battery can be manually removed from the vehicle context menu, which is viewable from the player's inventory menu while in the driver's seat. By holding the battery in your hands, the player can left-click LMB on the vehicle to insert the battery. If the vehicle already has a battery inside while a new battery is inserted, the old battery will be swapped into the player's inventory.
Acquirement
Vehicle Batteries can be found at mechanic shops, airport hangars, and gas stations. They can also be obtained from vehicles, which have an 80% chance to spawn with a battery inside.
